I was on set one day, shooting for a well known T.V Chef. In the back was a blaze ‘a’ Kitchen!
it was literally on fire! (Flambe!) I was shooting them running around and grimacing and hollarin‘ and all ‘a’ dat, then I started shooting the details.
I opened the draw to find this anomaly.
Scoops lined up like good ole troops,
ready to storm the hill….
…Of ice cream….
hahaha, this is an awesome pic!!! they do look like little troops lined up and although they are almost in sequential order by size, you can see it’s not quite perfect, so that is prob the way they are kept all the time.
oh, btw… these are prob NOT used for ice cream (or if they are, then only rarely); portion scoops (their name) are used for a wide variety of tasks. i like esp to use mine when i am making cookies b/c it makes beautiful, symmetrical, equally-sized cookies that look store-bought. they are also used quite a lot to dish up food for service.
